Stand Down for Safety is an independent resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the U.S. Department of Labor, any other agency, or any employer. References to national campaigns and to OSHA standards are for information only.

Not a substitute for your safety program

Kits, newsletter content, and other material on this site are general safety awareness material. They supplement, and do not replace, your company’s safety program, site-specific plans, training required by law, manufacturer instructions, or the judgment of a competent or qualified person. You are responsible for deciding whether any content fits your work, your site, and the rules that apply to you.

No guarantee

Content is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and current, but regulations, standards, and best practices change. We make no warranty that content is complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Certificates

Certificates of participation record that a person attended a stand-down. They are not training certifications and do not show that anyone is trained, qualified, or competent in any task.

Using the kits

With a free account, you may print and use kits within your own organization and with the crews on your projects. You may not resell kits, remove the Stand Down for Safety name, or republish them on another website. White-label and resale rights are available through a partner agreement.

Accounts

You’re responsible for your account and the information you give us. We may suspend accounts that misuse the site.

Sponsors and partners

Sponsored content and partner listings are labeled. Sponsors and partners do not review or change safety content. Introductions through the demo network are a convenience; any arrangement is between you and the partner.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Stand Down for Safety is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of this site or its content.
